The Mid State Trail is a wild hiking trail built and maintained by volunteers. The Mid State Trail stretches from the Green Ridge Forest in Maryland to the PA Grand Canyon and is open to all hikers. You are able to see spectacular vistas from mountain tops, remote wild forests, occasional cultural remnants and streams. You can obtain a map set by contacting Mid State Trail Association, P.O.
